Ivana Dragasevic

A professional Ballroom dancer and Certified Vinyasa Yoga Instructor. My passion is helping individuals develop mental, physical, social and emotional skills through dance and yoga.

Having grown up in Croatia and experiencing the impact war has on people’s psyche, I was inspired towards the dance journey and it’s healing. I began my dance education at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, England and furthered it at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY. I’ve earned a BA in Dance and Psychology and a 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certification from the Abhyasa Yoga Center in NYC. My specialty lies in yoga therapy.

I’ve studied closely under notable dance educators: Sara Rudner, Kathy Westwater, Rose Ann Thom, Emily Devine, Keith Sabado, Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine, Maria Manusova, Eugene Katsevman and Jose De Camps. I’ve applied my psychology and production management education and skills to help manage various dance studios as well as contributed as GM to the growth of Grand Prix, a private international dancewear label.
